A Brief Note About Puppy Prices

We run a clean and healthy farm where we spare no expense in the care and treatment of our dogs.We are aware that there are breeders out there with less expensive puppies.  We have been at both ends of the breeding business.  We, at one time were in the position as buyer and have toured many breeders homes.  We choose to treat our dogs like family and provide them with the type of home and care that we would want if we were living a dogs life.  It takes many hours to socialize puppies and train large breed dogs.   It takes a lot to transport large breeds back and forth to the vet and to keep them to be groomed.  This is not important to all breeders but we see it differently.  The end result is that we can be sure that when we send a puppy to his new home, that you- as a new puppy owner will have no issues with health or behavior.  We get all of our dogs certified for hips and elbows, this is a common procedure for Newfoundlands, Komondors and Old English Sheepdogs but not a common procedure for Great Pyrenees breeders.  We have chosen to do this so all involved can have peace of mind, and we can rest assurred that we have placed the healthiest possible puppy in your home possible.

About our Old English Sheepdogs

I chose the Old English Sheepdogs because of the silly behaviors they exhibit.

I love the way they make me laugh.  Always playful, yet like the Great Pyrenees very kind toward other aniamls.

I have been quoted saying

" An Old English Sheepdog is a combination of a Great Pyrenees and a 6 year old boy".

I find the Old English Sheepdogs make wonderful gaurd dogs for our home.

We have had them hold repairmen captive in their trucks until we come out.

They are not aggressive, and love children and other dogs as well as cats.

Once you introduce them (like the Great Pyrenees) they are fine with new comers.

They are very kind to all of the other animals on the property, and absolutley love to travel.  You will not see one of us on

the golf cart making rounds without atleast one Old English Sheepdog by our side.

True to the nature of the Old English Sheepdog they want to heard!

Owning a poultry and puppy  business this has come in handy more than a few times.

As puppies the Old English Sheepdog is among the softest you will ever touch,

let alone the fact that he or she just does not even look real.

They litterally may be the only breed I have ever seen that looks like a stuffed animal.

There are no words for how cute they are.

The size of the puppy will change andd he or she will grow and the color of the puppy will fade from deep

shiny black to a light blue gray.  The personality will change from super silly , clumsy and playful

to a somewhat more adult version of clumsy, silly and super loveable.

The Old English Sheepdog male does not reach full maturity until the age of three unlike most large breeds.

The female Old English Sheepdog will mature as girls do, about a year before the male.

Owning an Old English Sheepdog is not for everyone.

They will require training, like a child you will get out of your Old English Sheepdog puppy what you put into

it early on.  Time spent with your puppy will result in a dear friend for life.

If you crate your Old English Sheepdog all day long and find you just do not have the energy to

play with your puppy in the evening, you will most certainly  have a sad, hyper,

poor trained Old English Sheepdog.  If you think that this might be your situation please look at another breed.

If you do choose to get an Old English Sheepdog and things change in your life ( which we understand that this can happen)

please know that we would/ will  gladly take your dog back.  Please CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR HEALTH PROMISE

We would much rather take him or her back into our home than see him or her in a all day crate situation or a shelter.

We are always just a phone call away.  812 866 4660.
